Today is going to be a special day! All Middle School students and staff will be
involved in activities that promote physical health and well-being. You will be
active all day and will need to come to school prepared to participate in a variety
of active and not-so-active events. Students and staff will be working on
cross-grade level teams to earn points. The three top scoring teams will choose from
a selection of rewards.
It is very important that you are dressed appropriately. Please use the following
list as a guide.
1. You must wear sneakers or other shoes that allow you to run and walk outside.
Do not wear flipflops, sandals, or dress shoes.
2. Dress in layers. It might be cooler in the morning and warm enough for a t’shirt
in the afternoon.
3. Bring a lunch if you have not preordered a hot lunch. There will be no ala carte served.
4. Bring a small pack/bag with a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat.
We recommend applying tick repellent at home before coming to school.
5. Bring a snack or two. You will be active.
Come prepared to have fun!
The last instructional day for all K-11 students will be June 24th.
*Any additional lost school days will be added sequentially to the
calendar after June 24th.
