Mrs. Maxwell is a bus driver for the district and has 40 years of driving experience.  In her spare time she enjoys sports, being at home, spending time with her family, flowers and traveling.

Mrs. Koch is a bus driver for the district and has over 30 years experience.  She enjoys breeding, training and showing American Cocker Spaniels.  She also likes gardening, fishing, swimming, playing with her grandchildren and traveling to Orlando and New Mexico.

Mrs. Chambers has 20 years experience as a bus driver/training instructor.  Mrs. Chambers trains new drivers and does school bus safety training with the children in the district.  She enjoys spending time reading, camping, hiking, waterfalls and her family.

Lisa Morris



This is Lisa's first year at Gray-New Gloucester, she started back in September of 2005. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, auto racing, camping, fishing, 4-wheeling and flower gardening. In her spare time she likes to cross stitch, knit, and crafts.

William Duffus


Although a Maine native originally, Bill grew up overseas in Panama where he attended Canal Zones Schools. He completed his education at the University of Maine in Orono earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration. After working as an insurance underwriter for the Hartford Insurance Company, he returned once again to Panama to work on the Panama Canal. Since the canal was turned over to Panama in 1999, Bill along with his wife Elaine and daughters Emily and Louise settled down in Gray, Maine. Model railroading trains and fishing are some of his interests

Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, digging in her flower garden, swimming, boating and kayaking. Dawn has been a regular driver in the district for 3 years.

Mr. Betts is a substitute bus driver.  He enjoys camping, gardening, working around the house, woodworking and resting at home.  He also enjoys spending time with his kids and cats and wants a 2003 Ford Mustang.

Frank Chambers



Mr. Chambers resides in New Gloucester with his son and significant other, Kathleen, and a beagle named Harry Potter. He has been driving for the district since 2004..  He enjoys working around his house in his spare time, the Boston Red Sox, traveling and watching current movies at the theater.  Mr. Chambers loves watching the students participate in sports activities whenever he has the opportunity to transport the students to the events. He has been a member of the New Gloucester Public Safety committee since June 2006. He also helps out the "Friends of Library" in New Gloucester, especially with the outside Spring clean up. Mr. Chambers has a fifteen year old son.

Michael Mills



Mr. Mills is a substitute bus driver for the district.  In his spare time he enjoys fishing and helping people sell stuff on e-bay.  Mr. Mills also coaches little league softball in the spring.

Kathy Allen


Kathy is a special Ed van/ bus driver. She has been driving this run for two years and enjoys her group of kids. There is not a day that goes by that they don't make her laugh or smile. Kathy enjoys spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren are the joys of her life. Happy Day!

Cal Cutter



.Being a retired Ninja Ranger, Mr. Cutter thought he could become a school bus driver and see that children would get to school and home again safely. He lives in a little log cabin along side of a lake with his two dogs Frannie and Jimbo. He likes to fish, kayak, and swim.

Joyce Hamilton


Joyce has been driving school bus for 19 years. She likes to snowmobile and go four-wheeling on her four wheeler. She enjoys the outdoors and has a camp in Eustis. She has two children and enjoys quilting in her spare time.
